I can't believe it's December .... can you believe that in just one more week, we will be in 2023?! Where has this year gone ?! Actually, tho... I'm ready to move into a new year .... have a clean slate .... and start over. 2022 has truly been "life-ing" like ever before. This has been a year for me!!! It has been filled with a multitude of emotions.

As I sit here, a few days before Christmas, I begin to think that I no longer have anyone to shop for and no one to give gifts to, I can't help but to ponder on the question ,

"What is the true meaning of Christmas gifts and presents?"

"Are Christmas gifts valid or obsolete?"

When you think of the word , GIFT,

• It is "something that is given WILLINGLY or without force to someone without payment".

• It is also a natural ability or talent .

Gifts are given without looking for anything in return . It's all about showing favor toward someone , honoring them or a special occasion or providing assistance.

Gifts are important because it shows appreciation. Giving people gifts is to show that we are grateful for them and value the important role they play in your life .

Let's break this down for a moment ... and bring this closer to home!

• Memberships to museums , art clubs, etc. create a great source of learning

• It suppots the advancement of their education.

• Museums bring a sense of well-being , feel proud and aware of who they are and where come from

• It can inspire , challenge, and stimulate students to make them feel wholesome .

3. Give your child the gift of a PASSPORT.

• Encourage students to take their learning to another level through travel experiences

• Travel teaches students that there is an entire new world out there with endless opportunities.

• It's an endless University where the learning never stops .

• Travel doesn't have to involve a plane or large costs of a vacation - Travel is venturing outside their normal surroundings and seeing an entire new world.

4. Give your child the gift of EDUCATION.

• An education helps to shape and sharpen their future

• It keeps their minds active beyond the classroom and places them ahead of the other students.

• Education is something that can never be taken away and provides stability in their life.

• Due to COVID and not being fully emerged in a full academic year, students have lost at 2-4 years of learning. It has set them back from achieving their learning potential.
